Greetings!

Summer is going by fast, as usual! I’ve been able to enjoy four great car shows so far this season.
First was a show at St. Mary’s hosted by the Central US MG Car Club. They held their annual 4-day event (GOF - Gathering of the Faithful) at Notre Dame this year. What a display of pre-war MG’s! These were truly “concours” cars. I believe next year’s event is somewhere in Ohio.
Next show was the Michiana Brits Show at St. Mary’s held a few days after the GOF. Always a fun show. The threat of rain kept many cars at home unfortunately. But on the bright side, it enabled me to win first place in the TR250/TR6 group!
A couple weeks later I attended the Mad Dogs show at the Gilmore. Hugh turnout along with weather that was absolutely perfect. Much to my surprise I won another 1st place award! I attribute this to there being only a few TR6’s in the 74-76 category.
And most recently, I attended Rolling into Roanoke. Again there was a great turnout and weather. This show seems to get bigger every year. It was really nice to visit with so many members of our club.

Cheers,
Pete
