WELCOME Jon and Peg Bill TO NIAHC
My wife Peg and I are both life-long automobile enthusiasts. Between the two of us, we have nine vintage cars from the thirties through the sixties. I first became interested in British cars in 1963 when, at the age of 18, I purchased a 1958 Austin-Healey 100-6. It seems amazing to me today that a teenager, going to school and working part-time as a mechanic, could afford to buy a nice five-year-old Austin-Healey from a used car lot for $835. Owning the Healey sparked my appreciation for British vehicles.

I cannot remember any time since, that I have not had at least one British car or motorcycle, including three big Healeys and a frogeye Sprite.
We purchased our current Healey in December of 2016 from an estate. It is a 1959 100-6 (BN6) that had been in long-term storage. Restoration was finished in the summer of
2019 and we have enjoyed driving it ever since.
Peg grew up in rural northwest Indiana and as a child she loved to play with toy cars. I am a native of Fort Wayne. We now reside in Auburn, a great place to live especially if you like cars. Our current project is the restoration of a 1960 Standard service station located two blocks from our home. I retired as curator of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum two years ago. Peg and I are looking forward to meeting new friends and participating in club activities.
