New Membership Application

The Northern Indiana Austin-Healey Club is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of all the marques of Healeys. Ownership of a Healey is not required for membership.

You can begin to enjoy all the benefits that membership provides. We are an awesome group of friendly car enthusiasts dedicated to the cars made popular by Donald Healey. Meetings are generally once every few months or during a group events

We have spontaneous drives, summer wine tours, an annual Spring Tune-Up, and a Christmas party for fellowship and great fun.  In addition, tech sessions can be scheduled with an excellent group of members with technical expertise. They are available for consultation, troubleshooting, and work sessions to help keep the Healey wheels rolling.

The national organization holds an annual Conclave at different geographic locations in the U.S. or Canada. In September of 2019, the destination will be Deadwood, South Dakota. Scores of Austin-Healeys will converge for a celebration with activities that include side trips to Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands, and lots of socializing with friends new and old. The details are on the website  for you to make plans.

You may become an NIAHC member by completing form on this page.  Our local website, provides news and activity updates.  Anyone with an interest in celebrating these sporty British cars is welcome.

My wife Peg and I are both life-long automobile enthusiasts.  Between the two of us, we have nine vintage cars from the thirties through the sixties.  I first became interested in British cars in 1963 when, at the age of 18, I purchased a 1958 Austin-Healey 100-6.  It seems amazing to me today that a teenager, going to school and working part-time as a mechanic, could afford to buy a nice five-year-old Austin-Healey from a used car lot for $835.  Owning the Healey sparked my appreciation for British vehicles.

I cannot remember any time since, that I have not had at least one British car or motorcycle, including three big Healeys and a frogeye Sprite.

We purchased our current Healey in December of 2016 from an estate. It is a 1959 100-6 (BN6) that had been in long-term storage.  Restoration was finished in the summer of

2019 and we have enjoyed driving it ever since.

Peg grew up in rural northwest Indiana and as a child she loved to play with toy cars.  I am a native of Fort Wayne.  We now reside in Auburn, a great place to live especially if you like cars.  Our current project is the restoration of a 1960 Standard service station located two blocks from our home.  I retired as curator of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum two years ago.  Peg and I are looking forward to meeting new friends and participating in club activities.

We would like to give a big                                     to new local members,

Mark and Anna Firnhaber from LaPorte, In.  Mark was a Healey Owner back in the early 70's. They have loved British cars ever since then, and now own a beautiful 1969 Triumph TR6. We look forward to Mark and Anna's long NI Austin Healey Club fellowship.
